David Wallace Sportship Fund

DAVID WALLACE SPORTSHIP FUND

David Wallace was a member of Greater Battle Creek Ice Hockey Association, in May of 1989, David was suddenly killed in an automobile accident. The Greater Battle Creek Ice Hockey Association created the David Wallace Sportship Fund in his honor. This fund has been set up with the Battle Creek Community Foundation, the monies in this fund give children the opportunity to experience the love of the game, just as David once did.

 

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who believe in and support David’s Scholarship Fund. David’s love for hockey lives on because of all of you. To the Players: You guys are awesome. Without you . . . there would be no event. Thank you for all your support and participation. I know you made my “David” proud to have been a part of this hockey family. Please thank your families for coming and supporting the cause. To the Referees: Thank you for donating your time and keeping the guys in check. To the Sponsors and Donors: Thank You for your continued support.  Your donations are essential to our success. To the Volunteers: We couldn’t do this without all of you.  Thank You for taking the time out of your busy schedules to help. You are truly a blessing. To the Board Members: Thank You for all the hours of hard work and planning. Your continued support and dedication to David’s Scholarship Fund means more to me than words can express. To all of you . . . thank you from the bottom of my heart and congratulations on another successful event.
